New ornaments! 2015

More stealth portraits.

I finally found a good recipe for quick effective drawing: Fountain pen, with or without a pencil base, water-soluble writing marker for dark spots, and watercolor to excite dark spots and apply color simultaneously.

This is with the new Noodler's Ink fountain pen… works well so far, has trouble starting, but hasn't run out of ink yet.

This was with just water-soluble writing marker and watercolor… pre-fountain pen.

This was some kid playing violin very well on Walnut Street. Approx. 12 minutes total drawing and wash.
